Institutional Cooperation – Development of Cooperation in the TRITIA Region

Program: European Territorial Cooperation Programmes: INTERREG

Lead partner: EGTC TRITIA

Partners: Involvement of individual regions in project activities

Schedule: 2024-2028

Budget: 298 000 EUR

Project description: The goal of the project is to maximally support cross-border cooperation and deepen and strengthen relationships between local governments in the regions. Project participants will have the opportunity to establish new and interesting contacts leading to new activities in development and cooperation. It will also deepen informal relationships among participants who are already acquainted. Participants can exchange valuable experiences gathered throughout their professional practice, share knowledge, skills, and information that may vary across regions. This can inspire improvements in their own regions and bring new ideas for developing the entire border area through brainstorming. Institutional meetings are essential for the involved entities and for residents, bringing many improvements in daily activities and long-term outcomes. Systematic and continuous cooperation among participants aims to remove barriers, address problems affecting the regions and their residents, and seek constructive solutions while presenting new challenges. Regular meetings of public administration staff are crucial for the proper functioning of cross-border cooperation and strengthening high-quality inter-regional ties. The main output will be the creation of a new strategic document that maps the entire project process, summarizes key findings, and presents an action plan and strategies for further inter-regional cooperation.
