Project description:
The aim of the project is to integrate children on both sides of the border through a joint event – an international tennis camp. This goal will not only strengthen the relationships between CZ and PL participants, reduce the perception level of fixed stereotypes about Czechs/Polish, but will also create a network of cooperation between tennis organizations on both sides of the border. Other aim is the creation of conditions for cross-border cooperation enabling joint PL-CZ activities in the field of tennis and the creation of a network of sports organisations located on both sides of the border. The informal partners of the project will be national tennis associations from PL, CZ and SK, which will be intensively involved in the implementation of the project and cooperation with the EGTC TRITIA.
The result:
The project includes the preparation and organization of a sports camp and tournament for children aged 12-14 from PL, SK and CZ who are learning to play tennis. The whole event will take place at the Beskydy Advantage Tennis Club in Bielsko-Biała (PL).
The project is co-financed by the European Union from the European Regional Development Fund under the Interreg Czechia – Poland Programme 2021 – 2027 (Microproject Fund).
